Does anyone have any experience of selling cards on ebay? My 12 year old wants to list a few and I am worried about him being ripped off - e.g. someone getting it and then saying it's fake - they want monet back etc.
Yesterday we went to a shop and he was made an offer one two - one he accepted one declined. When we got home he, unknown to me, listed his card himself. He used a poor image and scant description. It sold for close to what he wanted for it....very quickly. At this point he told us and we were able to cancel the sale. Surely a reputable collector wouldn't have purchased without a good image to check the card. Or purchasing from a seller with a rating.
Obviously I have some more parenting to do around him making the listing without our knowledge. However I would lile to facilitate the sale via my ebay account. I am looking for any tips from those who have sold cards before.
