I know this is such a common thing to worry about. DS9 plays sport twice a week so he doesn't play on those nights but he wants to play Roblox every night after school and at weekends of course.
Every child is different of course. I set a time limit of 45 mins otherwise he would sit on it for hours (I've tried to let him self-regulate but he can't). He is a TV zombie as in he's never played alongside the TV being on in the background and he won't do anything else if the TV is on).
If you do limit screen time at this age on a school night, how much time do you give or is it just some days of the week?
He doesn't have a screen in his bedroom, it's an ipad in the living room.
I'm finding that there's always a friend online asking him to play which is fine but causes a lot of discussion. He draws and plays outside a lot which he loves but asks for Roblox as soon as I pick him up from school.
I don't want him to miss out on something he loves to do with his mates...
