Is Switch a replacement for Wii Fit?

Hi all,

I'm looking for an equivalent of the wii fit/ wii sports.

The switch seems to be the closest thing around now but I haven't seen anything like the balance board. If you loved wii fit and now have the switch, is it comparable? Which games would you recommend?

It has a sports game (Nintendo Switch Sports) using motion controls that is quite fun,, it's got tennis, bowling, golf, football, sword fighting and some other sports in it. It's more like the original wii sports game though than like wii fit.

There isn't really a direct one to one replacement for wii fit and the balance board but ring fit adventure covers a lot of the same ground. It uses a resistance band and a leg strap with a switch controller in it to track your arm and leg movements and has a main game mode that's meant to be played one level a day, plus minigames and exercise workouts.

Personally for active games I prefer playing Beat Saber on a VR headset.

I found ring fit on the switch brilliant! I lost a lot of weight during lockdown playing it and really toned up. I found it much more effective than Wii fit (and I was a huge fan of wii fit!) so I’d highly recommend it!
