So I am treating my son to a Meta Quest 3 for Christmas and though it will be mainly for him, it's an expensive thing for only one user.
My son suffers with extreme OCD so he cannot touch things others touch/share via the hands. A prime example of this is his PS4 controllers, absolutely no one can touch the one he is playing with or he will never use it again.
I have contacted Meta about purchasing a spare set. Apparently they don't currently exist as the headset is very new so you have to buy the full kit but I've also seen they are £80 each (if I was looking at the correct thing), but if that is correct I don't really fancy paying an additional £160 for controllers to be used once in a while.
So my question is, is there anything like a silicone skin I can purchase to cover the controllers for his use?. Psychologically this will satisfy him that there has been no direct contact with the controller from anyone else.
I know this sounds very extreme but this has been very debilitating for him and has been a problem for a long time.
Also is there also an external power bank I can purchase that attaches to the side like the Quest 2 or is it just the headstrap with battery?
