Less than a month till release! Anyone else excited?

I'm all in on the hype, just hoping it won't be a let down.

I try to not think about it as the date keeps changing 😆

Also I was thinking of playing on switch so will be longer.

I was until they delayed the switch release to July! 😩🥺

I'm waiting and saving. I'm also tempted to treat myself to an Xbox series X so might do both 🤣

Excited, but I want to read a few reviews first.
Not decided yet whether I want it for the switch. We have a series X, but I don't really play with it. I prefer playing a handheld.

So excited! Should be getting it on Monday on Xbox preorder download. Looks amazing. Just need to workout how to link pottermore to it to get my house/ wand etc.
I do like switch gaming but this really is a game that needs a PS/ Xbox if you can afford it/ are so inclined. The graphics looks great and it will fully do it justice especially on the newest consoles.

I am super excited. Just 5 days and I’ll be waiting online with my Gryffindor scarf and wand! 😁

I've got it pre-ordered. I am not a gamer at all but I am really looking forward to this.

I'm playing on PC so I'll be a good day behind on starting because of the release times 😭 but I can't wait, the days are literally crawling now. So hard seeing so many people on Reddit and Twitter who have managed to get an early copy!

We only have an Xbox One and Switch consoles but so desperate to get this game!

I'm assuming the play on Xbox One won't be anything near as good as what I've seen YouTube wise on the PS5?
Why is the Switch release date July- that's so far away?

We're playing on PS. Kind DS chose that rather than PC so could join in.

I'm not a gamer, so I'm on story mode.

I'm not a gamer. I'm on level 10 nearly 11 now on normal mode, PS5. I am loving it!!

Have to say I was a bit sceptical (though excited) but it's exceeded my expectations by a long way. It is a bit slow to start, but there's so many game mechanics to get used to that it does work well.

I love an open world (BOTW & Horizon ZD & FW are my current favourites) and this is definitely going to be in my top 3. Just had my first flying lesson!!

It's my very first game (except Gameboys in the 90s and early 2000). My DH bought it for me on the XBox. I love it so far and could spend hours just running around discovering things.

But I am SO SLOW! I find the Xbox controller really hard to use and I keep forgetting how to do the spells lol. I should probably be more advanced in the game and I keep doing the side quests too haha!

Hogwarts is just like I imagined, if not better. It makes the film version of Hogwarts look like a lego castle.

Oh I wish I had known this! I would much prefer if for the Switch!

I have to wait till it comes out on the PS4. I imagine I will be very slow too ... if there are any bits that are too difficult I'm going to get my teenagers to get me past them, so I can carry on wandering around Hogwarts looking at all of the things 😆

I’m interested in how it compares to BOTW, such a phenomenal game.

I can’t play it yet as I need to wait for the Switch Version to be released. 😩

@WhenYouWalkThroughTheGarden BOTW is our (me & DS13) gold standard. HGL is shaping up pretty well, however it is a little complex with the controllers and everything you need to gain mastery of - there's no "great plateau" and then you're off. However it is super immersive and looks absolutely gorgeous (we got a PS5 as our joint bday present last year).
There's just something about BOTW that got the balance of everything right - so excited about Tears of the Kingdom!

Well a month down the line and I am about to 100% the game with my first character-just one final flying race to do and 6 Merlin trials. 66 hours. Had been fun.

I'll hold off doing 3 more runs (as 3 other houses) for a bit (and only to the map chamber as it's still identical bar the getting to map chamber quest)
