Good 2 person game?

I'd love to hear recommendations for fun 2-person games.

DH and I play Scrabble but we would love to find other games that work fine with just 2????

I assume you mean board/card games.

We like 7 Wonders Duel, Caper, Jaipur, Patchwork - all designed for two players.
Or for cooperative games Hanabi or Codenames Duet.

@IThinkIMadeItWorse great 👍 yes I meant board games 😁

We'll check out those suggestions.

Tsuro is one of my favourites. Very relaxing, fine for 2 and the feel of it changes with more people if you scale up.

@Ormally added to our list, many thanks 😊

These are old games but I still enjoy them:
Yahtzee; Othello; Mastermind; backgammon

Lovelycheese · 16/07/2022 17:47

Rummikub

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 16/07/2022 17:47

I should have mentioned German Whist

(I know you wanted board games, but we often play this when travelling)

ESO is a famous MMO game that you should look to if you’re looking to play in twos. If you’ve come across Oblivion or Skyrim as an MMO player and you love them, then you’re more than likely going to love this game too. The Elder Scrolls Online combines several settings from different iterations of Bethesda – single-player RPGs – and this allows you to explore the game world from the Summerset’s High Elf realm to Tamriel, Khajiit homeland Elsweyr, etc.

Second that Jaipur and patchwork recommendation.
Also love letter is pretty easy to set up.
Otherwise going through a Professor Layton on the Nintendo DS. Or any point and click is very good

OP update: we loved Tsuro and Rummicub. I've bought more for Christmas. Thanks for all the suggestions 🙂

Diablo IV is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment and is the fourth main installment in the Diablo series. And it's definitely suited for 2 people. d4 is scheduled for release on June 6, 2023.

vanessagrady · 03/01/2023 09:51

Alternatively, playing a Professor Layton game on the Nintendo DS. Or any point-and-click geometry dash game is excellent.
