7th birthday ideas

I want to get my LO a game for his birthday which is next month.I was thinking Nintendo switch. Would that be acceptable for that able? Or is a proper console better? I don’t have a clue but I know he has interest as he’s played with both at his cousins.

not that I'm an expert on these things, but a Switch is probably the most age appropriate console for a 7 year old. You can get the hand held one, but personally, I would always got for the console if you can. It's designed to be mobile and used on the go, as well as to be docked and used with a TV screen.
