Looking for a PC for my son age 10. Clueless about where to start! What do you recommend? Ideal budget £500 to £800, definitely open to second hand etc. Would prefer something I can upgrade as I go. Thanks

When it comes to the best-prebuilt gaming PC under $800, you actually have quite a lot of options and no longer have to settle for low FPS or graphical settings. I recommend SkyTech Blaze 3.0 (GTX 1650) the most.

That website links to a Polish betting website. But assuming that's not just spam, I doubt a 10yo needs a build like that.

It’s all flash. This sort of “professional” look is the standard for parts these days.

What games do your children play. A computer is like a tool- you can buy cheap ones you can buy expensive ones you can buy in between.

Mostly it’s about what sort of power do you need? So the specific games they play is the biggest indicator

Something like this www.scan.co.uk/products/scan-gamer-vega-amd-ryzen-5-5600g-8gb-ddr4-amd-radeon-rx-vega-1tb-ssd-win-10-see-info

is in your budget will likely do everything your 10yo wants and more and is relatively easy to upgrade if the need arises

Alienware

They don't tend to be very good value.
