It’s quite satisfying but now I’m 19 days in it only takes a couple of minutes to get it on the third or fourth go. Unless you very luckily guess something close on the first go, is it really possible to guess in less than three?
I’ve never played it before and just heard about it on R4 so thought I’d try it (and no, I didn’t see the answer that had been let slip by PP).

An educated but lucky guess on the first word meant that I got it on the second try.

Seriously you've given the answer away. Everyone gets the same puzzle daily.. Yluve ruined my five minutes over breakfast.

Next time either dont play at all or only put up the path you took to the answer minus letters. ( click on stats and then share it does ot for you)

Spoiling the wordle should be a crime..Gutted

Wow - can't believe how angry people are about missing one go at a flipping game!

Anyway... I quite like it. I'm a language teacher, so I do it in 4 different languages Grin It's interesting to see how differently your guessing progresses in each language, depending on the most common letters, structure of words etc. There's a lot of luck involved because of the importance of what your first word is though.

Love wordle. I love the fact it’s the same one every day as DS and I compete. He even does the German version too as he recently taught himself to speak German (he’s 25 not a child genius) . We have different strategy words to get the vowels but I love PP’s suggestion of Audio or Adieu. Mind you, the last time I changed my strategy it took me 6 tries and ruined my record🤣

@jellytots2009 I think something was lost in interpretation. I've posted on here for years and upsetting people intentionally is not something I do.

However we seem to have got into a nasty debate about what is essentially a game. Enjoy playing and don't let me put you off.
