Point and click adventure games for Switch/PC

I love a classic point and click game - your typical Monkey Island/ Broken Sword fan and I’ve been looking for some new games. My preference is Switch as it’s easy to just pick up whenever, but PC is fine too.

I was delighted to find out the Deponia series is available on the Switch so I can play it sneakily throughout the day, but I have played it before so would love something new.

I’ve downloaded Wardrobe and The Inner World but haven’t really connected with either of them yet. I haven’t found an easy way to search for available games - so any suggestions?

If the story is good, PC is fine too. I usually prefer games with dry humour but I absolutely loved the Devil Came Through Here series despite how dark it is (particularly The Cat Lady), so really a good story is more important.

Any strong suggestions?

If you liked the Monkey Island series try to get your hands on the Simon the Sorcerer or Discworld series on PC if you havent played them already.
They were typical point and click with a bit of humour the same as Monkey Island.
You may even be able to download them for free somewhere as theyre pretty old but were always a favourite!
There was a Monkey Island that was released one chapter a month on the Wii many many years ago as well.....
No help with the switch though sadly.

You could try Agent A on the Switch. Also Jenny LeClue, though that's incomplete so be prepared for an annoying lack of closure

The Sherlock Holmes series is very good. If you're looking for something more classic, how about the Myst games? Grim Fandango is also legendary - love the music and concept. Or Gabriel Knight 2 - that's fab! (Big point and Click fan!)
