Hello everyone! Can anyone tell me what is the best choice of sandbox for 4-year old gamer? My son have already seen both games playthrough on Youtube and asks me to download one of them.
Thank you in advance.

Roblox isn't suitable for a 4 year old. To get any enjoyment out of it you need to talk to others, Dd runs a Skype call in the background which her friends talk to each other on. But really the content and the games aren't appropriate. DD is 11 and most of her friends have started playing it over the last year.

Minecraft in creative mode is like building with lego and it would be better for a 4 year old.

Minecraft

Minecraft. It’s a safe game and there’s Stampy or DanTDM who are you tubers playing this game and their videos are aimed at kids.

Not Roblox as most of the games are user created. I discovered a game where you got points for how far you could throw yourself off a cliff. One of the most popular games my DS plays is where a load of online people are in say a house and one is a murderer bit non one else knows and they have a few minutes to kill all the other people. If they don’t they lose. Roblox can be fun but needs a lot of policing.

At 4 years old definitely stick with minecraft, it’s an amazing game and you can play it offline.

Another create game for youngsters is Terraria.

Okay, but is Minecraft safe in terms of payments from my device? I don't know how to make a protection from in-game purchases. Found alternative here. Creators say that there is no need to worry about anything with their choice.

You don’t need to worry about purchases within Minecraft. Game platforms like Roblox encourage purchases, but you can play happily for ages on Minecraft without the need to buy anything. It’s possible to buy mods, but you can prevent purchases by protecting with a password.

Minecraft for sure.

Ds10 has been playing for years and apart from buying the game to start with, has not made or wanted to make a single in game purchase. It’s just not that type of game really, unlike Roblox, which very much is.
