Anyone playing Farming type games in lockdown?

I used to play HayDay. A few years ago there was a long running thread about it on MN, even some MN neighbourhoods. I gave it up eventually as it took too much time. Also enjoyed Paradise Bay and Tropic Escape.
I love the start of the game, building up from nothing.
Anyway I am bored senseless and decided to have another go. There are loads of similar games and I'm working my way through them.
So far
Royal Farm pretty good.
North Farm - way too greedy for your money.
Farm Bay enjoying this one.

Have you tried Stardew Valley? 🙂

Not really. I tried it once ages ago and it was a format I wasn't familiar with. Is it worth persevering?

It’s one of my favourites but I guess it depends what you look for in a game. Stardew’s not a mobile game so it’s not limited by lives/money. It’s got a lot of content to unlock - it starts out with basic farming but you’ll end up spending more time exploring new areas and building relationships with the townsfolk.

It’s gentler than mobile farming which tends to suck you in with incremental progress and team challenges (if you want to risk losing time to another HayDay I recommend Township) 😊
