My sons (15 and 16) are gamers - one is studying esports.

Can anyone suggest good presents for them for Christmas?

Youngest would like a gaming chair so any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Do they play consoles or PC?

If PC, one of the greatest things you can buy them is a gamers mechanical keyboard. If they are not the type to rage and smash it, they will get years of use out of it. Ask them and if they are already aware of the benefits - they would probably love one.

Looking around £60-80 for a basic one. £100+ for fancier ones with features such as customisable lighting (I'm guessing teens would love) and programmable hotkeys.

Thank you!

One has a gaming laptop (which he now says is rubbish and he needs a new one). Both have consoles - I think PS4, but I think both are hoping to change to the new Xbox at some point

Ah scrap the keyboard suggestion then as only really relevant for a desktop PC.

A good headset is an option - especially if they are into games that are played in esports as often these need voice communications. And you get the benefit of not having to hear the sound of guns etc blaring from their TVs. There are so many brands nowadays I can't recommend any specific ones. As mentioned by @RainbowRaine Razer are quite popular.

The gaming laptop, if you ask him what's wrong, instead of buying a new one, upgrade the parts needed bit by bit.
