Hi, disclaimer first....I know NOTHING about gaming. Nor does my DH. Our 3 older kids don't game but do play a little offline Minecraft. My 6yo son, however is OBSESSED. We do limit his screen time etc, but no matter what we do, he talks about it, tries to game on multiple devices & the interest/obsession continues. He's a Minecraft expert (according to my 15yo DD) & over lockdown has moved onto Jurassic World & dinosaurs have become his new 'thing'. He's awaiting assessment for ADHD; that's a whole other story, but just may give insight into how strong his 'interest' is. We've never allowed online gaming for any of our DC. Don't think these cards are related, though? Now DS is desperate to buy cards for Jurassic World. I don't understand what for TBH, (he thinks he gets a Dinosaur character that he doesn't currently have...). Instinctively, don't think it's a good habit to start, don't know what he'll get for his £££. He wants me to crack open his moneybox to buy them. Help!!
