Ps4 PlayStation plus. Please help a dummy

I bought this today on my parent account but itsfor ds as I don't use the ps4. He can't seem to use it. There's no golden cross by his name.

I thought we could share it. What am I doing wrong?

The main account has it, any other accounts registered on the same PS4 that your account is on, should be able to use PlayStation plus.
The cross will only appear next to the account that has actually purchased the plus. It should still work
