Fort nite on switch and PS4 help please.

Ds wants to friend his cousin on fortnite, but he plays on switch and cousin plays on PS4. When we put in their names to friend request, they are not recognised. Please help.

Fortnite is crossplay, you probably just typed in the names wrong.
