Can you play this on an iPad or iPhone ? There's an app for it in the store but how do you solve the lack of gps ?

You can use an iPhone. Ipad isnt so good as you'd need wifi/mobile network to use it

Eh? You can play on an iPhone. I have played on two different models. On an iPad you would need a cellular connection or to only play where there is WiFi. I think maybe you have misunderstood something. Anyway, the app is free so download it and give it a go. Be aware it does eat battery though.

DS played on an iPhone 4S until it died. We've also played on a tablet but I tether it to my android phone.
