My DP has a VR which ive been playing, and been fine.

Recently played Skyrim VR for the first time (logged faar to many hours on normal skyrim so know the game well) and felt soo sick and had to stop!

Does anyone else get bad sickness from playing the VR?

I can't even play Minecraft for a few minites without trying motion sickness. I think it's a thing older thing. No games for me these days.

I used to - it takes a while to 'find your VR legs' for the same reason it can take a while to get used to being on a boat. First person perspective with free movement is much harder on you than third person or teleporting. It's the rotating that does me in... or rather, it used to. I played all the way through The Vanishing of Ethan Carter with free movement and (apart from one part...) that's a very slow game, and now I can roam around in Skyrim without any trouble.
What I would say is stop as soon as you feel queasy, first time I got VR sick I pushed through it for an hour (new toy syndrome) and I was wobbly for a whole day after! With some luck you'll adapt to it after a few tries.

My husband started to feel sick with normal (non VR) gaming, if the action swung around, so bad he couldn’t even watch someone else play. He used the travel sickness wrist band things and that helped loads.

Just have get used to it.

Now leaving the VR world that’s the rabbit hole...
