Cheapest way to play sins 4

Hi, my 12 year old wants to play sims 4, we have no (working) pc or laptop at the moment. Can anyone advise the cheapest way of playing sims 4?
Also, if we went down the (budget) laptop route (which i am told is not the best for sims 4) would it be playable?
I'm thinking the portability of a laptop is useful, also other members of the family could use it and could she use it for photo editing?
Is there such a laptop out there on a budget? I'm thinking about £300-£350.
Many thanks if anyone has any experience or advice.

Hey, I've played the sims for many years. The sims 4 is perfectly fine on a laptop! In fact it has its own setting for laptops that it turns on automatically.

You should be able to find a lap top easy enough, the important part is it's processing power, so a minimum of the intel core 3. I run my game on an HP pavilion g6 which is a pretty old laptop and it does fine with all expansion packs out so far and a lot of custom content.

Also make sure it has a minimum of 4gb ram. Don't worry about graphics chip, they are mostly inbuilt on laptopbs and as long as it's a minimum of the i3 processor, the Graphics will do just fine.

The sims 3 however, that is was much more graphically intensive.

I will have a browse for you and post some links.

If you google the HP 15-bs559sa laptop, it is £429.00 at PC world, that would do her fine.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will look into that one you suggest.
