Should I sell XBox and buy PS4??

I have 3 DS (12, 9, 7) who enjoy the XBox but are getting so frustrated by the constant 'freezing' and lagging when they are playing- especially Fortnite.

They claim all friends have PS4's and this never happens to PS4's .
I was thinking of taking the console, about 15 games and 4 wireless controllers to one of those gadget places that buy/sell - I think it's called CEX - taking the cash and buying a new PS4, with one or two games. Is that crazy? Would be grateful if anyone could advise.

If you're not happy with the Xbox then moving to PS4 is not crazy, they mostly have the same games but personally, I think PlayStation have a far better exclusive line up. You can check on the CEX website what they will pay in cash for each item you have. But it may also be worth checking at Game to see what they can do you on a trade in for a new PS4 as usually trade in prices are better than cash (plus you can do the whole transaction in one shop).

The other option would be to get a Nintendo Switch, of course!

Lagging is usually because of the internet connection, not the console
