Hay Day animals sanctuary

Hi I’m playing hay day and have got two animals in my sanctuary but how do you get the people to visit them? I see the speech bubbles with the animals in them but how do you get that person to visit?or do they just go on their own? It’s driving me mad. Tia 😁

If you click on the town hall it shows the people in the town
The ones with the paw print next to their name will visit the sanctuary
It’s random and you don’t get to pick

Ah right. So it doesn’t matter if I send them to the shop etc they’ll still visit the animals if they have paw prints? !
