Is Castle Crashers OK for my 10 year old?

I can't find much advice on line and would really appreciate any helpful comments.
I'm not a gamer and feel a bit in the dark here!

That tells you the sort of humour and content you can expect. It depends how mature (or immature!) your son is! It's cartoony and not that gory, but it is a kill-everything type of game.

It's rated 16+ by PEGI, but with the slightly dubious claim that it contains 'realistic looking violence'. :/. It's very cute and cartoony, but does contain decapitation, blood splatters and shitting deer. Can't remember too much about the dialogue in-game, it's all very tongue in cheek though.

(It's also a huge amount of fun!)
