Sims 3 keeps crashing laptop.

Dd has got sims 3 and when she plays it the screen keeps going black.

She can still see the mouse icon but the icon has changed to a sims mouse.

Then the screen goes blue and there's words on the screen.

Then the laptop restarts.

Then when she try's to play sims after a few minutes of playing it crashes again.

Dd reckons she needs a new computer.

Does she? Is it because her laptop is old and not high spec enough?
