Does anyone have any recommendations for games on their iPhones for 3-4 year olds. I've got the 'Learning Touch - First Words' sampler but would love some suggestions.

there are quite a few different puzzle game apps. I got disney princess puzzles and a few others for DD .. all free apps.

Watching! :)

DD likes preschool memory match.

My 3.5 son loves

Gigglebies (paid for but very good)
Toy story memory (pairs) game (free)
Doodle buddy (free I think) good for free form drawing
Alphabet tracing (free) as the name suggests
Angry birds (paid) believe it or not!
Pocket phonics (free I think)
Pepper pig (paid) games but you don't really win or lose if you know what I mean
He also likes the cake making ones like like sundae maker etc
I don't think the games you choose have to always be educational as I'm sure they'll learn something from whatever (even if it is just hand eye coordination for eg)

I generally just have a look at the kids games 'free' chart every now and then as children are so fickle I don't want to be buying too much!

Enjoy :)

DD likes Angelina Ballerina, anything by Duck Duck Moose, Monkey's Pre-school Lunchbox, Make me a Princess, Hatch!, Toddler Teasers, Animatch.

All small children seem to find Talking Carl hilarious (we had the talking cat one but she kept accidentally hitting the 'pay for upgrade' button so I got rid of it.

I wouldn't bother with abc phonics-very American-unless,of course, you are American!

Mine (3 and 5) like:
angry birds
Cut the rope
Lunchbox
Sonic racing
Create a car (better on iPad than iphone though)
Steeplechase
The where's Wally app (me too!)
Doodle jump

And spend far too much time looking at old Muppets clips on YouTube.

MrsJohnDeere · 07/07/2011 22:18

Sheeplechase NOT steeplechase (predictive text....)

Ours (b1.5 and g3.5) both love 'talking carl' and 'smack that gugl' both by the same people. very fun and great graphics. 3 yr old daughter currently loves Angelina Ballerina app, and Dream Bride, a sort of 'dress up Barbie' type app. Also recommend 'Toy Story 3' matching game and 'Trucks and Diggers'.

my daughter loves the Paperdolly app. I think it's for the ipad only, but she spends lots of time playing with it. hope this helps.
