Best vegan yogurt?

What are your recommendations for a really creamy, greek-style vegan yogurt, preferably not bitter or with added sugar? I have been eating dairy Greek yogurt every day but would like to cut back. I've tried the Soyade (sp?) brand but was unimpressed.
I generally add berries and flaxseed and a bit of vanilla extract to it, so it doesn't have to be perfect, but if there's something delicious out there, I'd like to try it!

Coconut collaboration

Alpro high protein yoghurt is good.

Alpro greek style yoghurt is lovely. Alpro in general have a good selection. Coconut Collaborative are also good but can be very thick. There are a few to choose from now including supermarket own which are good.

I have been dairy free for years so have tried plenty lol.

Thanks all! Will try these recommendations, depending on what Sainsbury's will deliver.

Another vote for coconut collaborative, its lush

Oatly

Also voting for coconut collaborative, koko is also good (I buy whichever is on offer but prefer coconut collaborative)

TheKneesOfTheBees · 15/07/2024 07:31

Cocos - it's live and organic. I find plant yoghurt tricky though, because they are either high in fat and lack the protein of dairy yoghurts (particularly the coconut ones), or they are ultra processed with thickeners.

CCLCECSC · 17/07/2024 21:22

Alpro greek style.

I love Asda own brand plain soya yoghurt., Tesco also do one in their Plant Chef range. I prefer the Asda one over Tesco although similar. They have cultures and no sugar. Protein is reasonable. No idea how this compares to dairy greek yoghurt but it's what I use for my overnight oats.

Wahine24 · 25/07/2024 20:09

Asda cheapy soya yogurt £1 odd ( well under £2) for large pot use it to make flat bread, raita, with fruit, on its own.
I'm really impressed with it

coconut collab is UHP and low protein

longtompot · 25/07/2024 20:39

Another coconut collaborative fan here. My dd has it as she is allergic to dairy and it's been the best to have on top of curries and chilli.

I think a lot of dairy free or vegan 'yoghurts' will be UPF @Objectrelations as they aren't made in the same way as traditional yoghurt is. Unless of course you know one that is low UPF.

I didn't know this but they do offer a high protein yogurt too, but our local Sainsburys is a bit rubbish and has very limited options in this department.

NellieTheElephant1 · 25/07/2024 21:01

Another vote for Alpro Greek style, I have it most days and love it! Tried Tesco own brand once as it's cheaper but it was rank!

Objectrelations · 25/07/2024 21:43

@longtompot The plain sojasun or tesco ones are not UHP
