As the title suggests, I'm heavier than I've ever been and need to shift a couple of stone.

Any good tips for meals which are vegan and gluten free and filling?

Tofu and veggie stir frys.

Use lentil pasta not standard GF stuff.

Run away from vegan cheese, it has no nutrients.

What do you normally eat?

Try and limit avocado and coconut. Also jammy dodgers and fried potatoes, this is where most vegans go wrong!

I don't think i eat too badly, just too much and yes I love potatoes and vegan treats!

Think it's lunches I struggle with, seem to need GF bread to fill me up. So any packed lunch ideas would be fab!

I think lack of protein can make it harder to control food intake as a vegan. I would heavily lean into protein sources -- nuts, beans, tofu, etc, and cut down on anything ultra processed.

Lunch, make a grain and bean salad. Quinoa or buckwheat, half a cup. While that is cooking add a cup of broad beans and a cup of peas. When cooked and cooled add a tin of beans, lots of herbs and veggies of your choice. Dress with a splash of EVOO and some cider vinegar.
Protein and fibre fill you up.

Like this but 101 varieties available.

A nice lunch box helps, add salad on the side.

My favourite lunch at the moment is sweet jacket potato with mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes, peppers and scrambled tofu plus a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. Can be eaten hot or cold (I cube the sweet potato if cold)

My favourite lunch at the moment is a chickpea salad, using whatever I have available such as kale, tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, dates, etc.

Quinoa with mixed veggies is another staple of mine and very filling. You could also try making your own falafel and having that with a salad.

Basically I tend to make meals that can be bulked out with lots of veggies as a way of filling up without it becoming too calorific.
