I’m not sure if anyone has heard of this Irish Cow sanctuary but they are really struggling, the land they have has become unsuitable and the authorities are threatening to take the cows and kill them 😢 they are desperately fundraising to buy some suitable land to save the cows lives https://www.facebook.com/100083279555687/posts/pfbid0bKGknAY5H5kkboWMYLqX7ZbcTgVLa7taoWuVoZTJdfVt4QLqZ7nfmCRQ9gfkTd1rl/

Please help if you can.

I hadn't heard of this project before, but am concerned to see this misuse of the word "veganic" - which is supposed to represent vegan and organic growing practices. For decades, the Vegan Organic Network has existed to promote stock-free farming - ie ways of creating, building and protecting soil fertility without animal manure - and this project flies in the face of that.
It's lovely that this woman wants to provide a sanctuary for cows and other animals, but she shouldn't be calling it "veganic".
And I don't think there is any ethical, "vegan" way to have cats.
I write this as someone who has been vegan for over 30 years.

The vegans relates to the food she plans to grow- more about that on the facebook post linked above.

Your update doesn't change the fact that the word 'veganic' was deliberately coined to describe something different - ie stockfree farming - not what she's doing at all.

I wish she'd stop calling her project that. She could just call it an animal sanctuary. With a garden/ food forest/ whatever.

See https://veganorganic.net/ - these people have been promoting 'veganic' growing for decades.
