I'm looking for a set that's vegan ( obvs) and cruelty free ,but natural products as much as possible, and non drying,as I get dry skin .

Tropic is vegan, how about something like this? I'm sure if you get in touch with your local rep though they may lend you a product or two? They definitely used to Wink

The boots rose everyday range is vegan. I use the face wash, toner and moisturiser twice a day, it's really good.

Letsgotitans · 31/12/2023 19:18

I love tropic skincare!

LSTMS30555 · 31/12/2023 19:43

Bulldog do a fantastic range of moisturiser, face wash/scrub etc....
Also the brand simple.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 31/12/2023 19:46

Holland and Barratt do a lovely range in brown packaging. Definitely worth checking out.

You might want to try small samples of those brands OP. I'm a similar age and find both of those brands a little drying Wink

Tropic is fab. (I'm a bit older than you and menopausal skin).

Pugdays · 01/01/2024 07:10

Thanks for suggestions
I thought tropic was like a multi level buying thing ..a pyramid
I was looking at no 7 boots and the huge list of ingredients in each moisturizer and where it says in big letters ,to wash out quickly if gets in eyes ...just put me off the huge list of ingredients.

Typology is vegan and about as natural as you can get. Plus the products really work, have made a massive difference to my skin.

kikisparks · 01/01/2024 08:00

I got some Ren stuff for Christmas and it’s lovely but not cheap.

Notanother0nee · 01/01/2024 08:12

Tropic might be vegan but it exploits people instead (yep it’s MLM) so I’d avoid. It’s also highly fragranced, expensive and contains no active ingredients.

I’d look at dermatica to get something that will actually target your skin concerns (whether that’s breakouts/fine lines/dullness etc) then just use a cleanser, moisturiser (I like things with ceramides which supports the skins barrier) and SPF.

Natural is a bit misleading- i wouldnt want to rub natural essential oils into my eyes, even though it’s “natural”.

Check out Caroline Hirons. She’s a great place to start. Or Dr Sam Bunting.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 01/01/2024 08:14

Facetheory and Biossance are both vegan brands and both have been lovely on my aging skin. It's also worth looking in your local health food shop too as most will stock Weleda who have some lovely products.

Unfortunately Tropic is an MLM as you say, so the prices don't reflect the value of the product, and I don't know too many people who are happy to support that business model.

Pugdays · 01/01/2024 19:38

Thanks will have a look at everything suggested x

Pai - bit pricey but you can send things back if you have a reaction which is unlikely but you never know - or Green People, who do an unscented range. Simple is cruelty free but owned by Unilever, which puts some people off.

PinkMimosa · 03/01/2024 20:15

I didn't know that the Green People were vegan. I get their stuff from our local health food shop but I my skin is too dry for their moisturiser to cope with.

Pugdays · 04/01/2024 15:01

I'm still looking ....I had a free facial once and she used Neil's yard orange facial oil on me ...my skin felt wonderful after ...can't find it though, maybe discontinued

Would recommend the Ordinary. Well priced and has a foaming cleanser and moisturiser with HA which are both good for dry skin.

My DD uses a lot of The Ordinary. Again, I didn't know they were vegan Wink

@Notanother0nee

You don't know what you're talking about. Tropic don't add any fragrances, all the scents are form the fresh ingredients only. It lasts a very long time so is good value for money. And has lots of effective and active ingredients - it's freshly made to order so much better than something that's been sat on a warehouse shelf for months or years.

I'm not a rep, just someone with very sensitive skin who has spent years trying to find something that works and doing lots of my own research, and Tropic works for my skin. I looked into it seriously before trying as I've been stung (skin wise and financially) by many brands before.

Pigsinpainauchocolat · 04/01/2024 21:34

I also read this article from Talented Ladies - they are very anti MLM but changed their view after meeting with Tropic's female founder.

It is not what you are asking, but my best beauty routine is a freshly pressed carrot juice. Every day, I plug in my juicer, and make a tall glass of carrot juice. It does wonder to your skin in a matter of weeks.
Yes it is a pain to clean the juicer every single day, but totally worth it!
