As above mentioned
has anyone come across a vegan all inclusive hotel or resort in U.K. preferably that has a decent pool .
so jealous of people being able to book and eat everything on offer, then lounge around a pool swimming and reading..would be wonderful

I doubt a wholly vegan hotel would be financially viable tbh.

Saorsa 1875 in Pitlochry is completely vegan.

No pool but you can use the pool/ spa at nearby Pitlochry Hydro for a small fee

Ikos Andalusia has multiple restaurants with substantial vegan options on each menu (plus 9 pools).

Depends what your idea of "substantial" is - places always say they cater to vegans and then there's two shit options on the menu (usually a falafel burger or similar dull fare)

I’m looking for fully vegan ,I’ve dc with autism, they wouldn’t risk the possibility of cross contamination.
actually ,even a vegan hotel without a pool could be considered

That looks great. But it's in Greece.

AI hotels aren't really a thing in the UK , you may be able to get DB&B

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 26/07/2023 18:59

Vegan guest house in Bristol with amazing looking good, a few mins walk from a pool

I realise this isn't quite what you were after, but it's the best I could do!

Duckduckie · 26/07/2023 19:01

Ohh this would be great for dairy allergies, not vegan but it does make allergies easier having vegan options on the menu

showmethegin · 27/07/2023 06:33

@Missingmyusername you misunderstood me, that was a sarcastic response to the previous poster who had their comment removed.

Missingmyusername · 27/07/2023 10:37

@showmethegin my apologies then. Sorry

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 27/07/2023 10:41

That sounds like a dream! Following in case someone knows of anywhere.

I keep pointing out to mumsnet that they are parenting social media website therefore they must promote best parenting practices.

Depriving your children of proper nutrition is neglect. Vegan diets do not provide sufficient B12, calcium, and essential amino acids to developing children. iThere should be a warning in the vegan subheadings that it is not a sufficient diet for children.

it is the same as someone asking for a resort which only served fast food and no veggies.

Dombasle · 27/07/2023 22:14

My daughter is a vegan.

I think from her research a few years ago that swimming pools were not vegan. The stuff used to clean or added to the water was not vegan, I can't remember exactly what it was.

I sent her this as a joke -

I've personally never seen an ai hotel in the U.K. vegan or otherwise. Dinner bed and breakfast is the standard offering if not just b&b. There's quite a few vegan b&b's around the sw but not big enough to offer a pool

So your child has autism so the hotel has to be fully vegan with no cross contamination...okay. How is that teaching them anything about life?
