Vegan malteser hot chocolate and lactose intolerance

I was just wondering if anybody with lactose intolerance has tried the new malteser vegan hot chocolate? My son (6) is lactose intolerant and he has recently tried it (twice) and it flared up all his lactose intolerance symptoms both times. Wondering if it's happened to anybody else?

DH tried it recently and it didn't cause him any symptoms.
