I quite fancy Vegan Campout this year. Bit it’s not clear to me what to expect?

Is there a lot of music and comedy as well as the stuff about activism?

Sorry I'm so late to this thread. Youve probably got all the info you need by now.

I've been to the Friday-Sunday Vegan Camp Out in Newark, if that's the one you mean, a couple of times.

Lots of different genres of music every day, usually a headline vegan comedian, eg Russel Brand and Simon Amstell, brilliant talks by well known vegans and activists.

Plenty of stalls selling merchandise, loads of food.

I'd recommend it.

Yes!
I went last year for the first time and loved it. So snapped up my tickets for this year.

Won't be in a tent though - we rented a motorhome last year, and this time will be in a nearby hotel.

It's great fun- loads of great food. Some interesting talks on activisim, general veganism, other stuff like that. Stalls to buy clothing, other foods and drinks. Yoga sessions, evening dance - one night will be 70/80s, another will be rave/dance music, another rock..

The overall take home message was - great weather but what is the driver for this event?

Lots of UPF food, shit music, too many dogs, no water, no hygiene and none of the small groups I was looking for.

Why do you call animals, 'the animals' - so separatist. I asked this question at many stalls - no answer.

I went last year - follow-up for newbies non existent - probably my fault.
Not going again - really disappointed.
