Netflix horror story

Apparently people are trying to get as many people to stream this so that it makes it into Netflix’s top 10 and then some non-vegans will watch it. Could potentially be a sad watch but might be worth sharing or having on mute in the background.

If link doesn’t work search NETFLIX for Hogwood: a modern horror story

Thanks

I played it this morning via Netflix but put a blanket over the tv and turned the sound off. I just can't watch stuff like this but the. I'm not the one who needs to as in dont eat it.

ProperSorryFrown · 30/10/2022 17:02

I will do the same. Though I worked in a slaughter house,so have seen more than my soul can cope with.

Oh no, that must've been harrowing.

I put it in this morning and left the room 🤦‍♀️

If even just a few meat eaters saw what really goes on I'm sure they'd be vegan for life.

I may watch it later, after I've had my steak pie Smile

ProperSorryFrown · 30/10/2022 18:37

I agree, empathy is visual unfortunately.

Sure to be totally independent and non biased then 🙄

It's not animated though. It is actual footage. It happened and continues to happen.

BrokeAsABone · 30/10/2022 18:44

I defended won't be able to watch. I watched the slaughterhouse documentary around twenty years ago when it was on BBC and it took ages to get over it....I still think about the poor pig that had a heart attack going in. And pigs have a similar mentality to three year old children.

I don't eat meat...haven't touched it in almost forty years. I sometimes think slaughterhouses should have windows.

BrokeAsABone · 30/10/2022 18:45

Definitely.

You can't present the sight of dead and dying pigs living in squalor in a balanced light. The images speak for themselves.

VeganVegetable · 31/10/2022 19:54

Yes I’m not sure how the images can be shown with any bias, they are what they are 🤨

Yeah Heaven forbid the true horrors are shown rather than the sanitised versions that ignorance allows. Or if the person even gives a toss to begin with...

I could never watch this programme but I don't need to as I haven't ate death / animal by products in decades. I've seen enough to haunt me until I die. Sickening, vile and pure evil is what it is.
