I'd like to make a vegan Bundt cake to serve with Christmas Eve supper. We're not vegan but one of our guests is. I do have flax seeds to use as an egg replacement if called for and a block of plant 'butter' so could adapt any recipe I guess, but even if I wasn't making a vegan version i'd prefer tried and tested. Not used the tin before so hopefully it won't stick! (I'll oil it of course but believe they can be quite 'temperamental' when first used.). So would prefer the recipe at least to be one I know that works.
Thank you.

Jamie Oliver’s vegan cup cake recipe. It’s a guest post but I’ve used it dozens of times. It’s a basic vanilla cake so you can add whatever flavourings you have in mind. I’ve done lemon drizzle, Jaffa (orange cake with chocolate drizzle), Dundee, chocolate (deduct the weight of the cocoa from the flour so its not dry), carrot cake, coffee and walnut. The recipe is bomb proof. And it’s a big cake, no need to double up to fill your bunds tin.For your pan I would recommend ‘buttering’ it with the margarine and then dusting it with flour. This recipe does not work as a gluten free recipe, sadly. Have fun with it.

I haven’t tried the Bundt cake recipe but I have tried a few vegan recipes from the Domestic Gothess blog so recommending her recipe on that basis!

My favourite so far is the chocolate mulled wine cake!
