Is there anything? All the ones I've tried so far taste like sick.

I like www.iamnutok.com/shop
They have a cheddar option. Most supermarket and restaurant options aren’t good but small artisan producers can be really good.

I hope you can find what you're looking for! However you might be better off searching forests for unicorns with rainbow hair, in my opinion.

I haven't found anything decent yet. Closest I found was the cheese on the dominos vegan pizza and I think they use their own creation for that. Even then it was very meh!

The best one I've discovered is the Insteddah Cheddah by Honestly Tasty. It's not the same texture (it's soft) but it tastes good on toast

Best I have tried is Sheese.
Waitrose sell it as does Wholefoods.

Been vegan for years and tbh you prob need a break from dairy before going back and trying some vegan cheeses. They don’t generally taste the same, closest I’ve found is Applewood. In the early days everything tasted of feet but I now quite like some vegan cheese, though most of them are still foul. Your brain needs time to ‘forget’ what dairy cheese tastes like.

I agree your brain definitely needs to forget what real cheese tastes like xx

Forgetting what cheese tastes like.

So sad.

Cheese is bloody awful don't bother :o

I have never eaten it, because it doesn't agree with me, although in the last few years I've been trying little bits and honestly, when you're not used to it it tastes terrible, just acidic, greasy when melted and generally unpleasant. I do not get what the universal appeal is.

The vegan options all smell so bad I haven't even bothered tasting them.

A life without cheese is not one devoid of happiness, despite what everyone says. Join the dark side! Wink

DH likes the applewood smoked, and the violife mature. The violife mature isn't too bad from a non vegan perspective, and there is an orange violife that I have only found in a local independent health food shop which tastes nice and has fairly decent meltability.
Most of them are awful though!
