Suggestions for ethical school shoes for teenager?

I need some school shoes for my ds 14. He won't have leather. Can anyone suggest where to get some decent shoes for him? He's a wide fitting which is why in the past we have gone to Clarks.

There's these from M&S - the only wide fit non-leather ones on baclk though (I'm assuming your DS is in adults shoe sizes at 14?)

Places like Shoe Zone are more likely to do non-leather shoes as they are cheaper, but if it's an ethical choice to not wear leather, cheaply-produced shoes will come with a minefiled of other ethical issues!

depending on how wide his feet are, sometimes sizing up one or two sizes is better for my spade-footed ds
