If so, can someone please give me the recipe? All the ones I’ve tried have been tasteless. Thanks.

I’ve given up. My slow cooker rarely gets used these days.

Slow cookers don't release flavours quite like frying does. The secret to a flavoursome curry is to add the onions, coriander, spices and garlic all at the beginning and cook thoroughly before adding base of coconut milk and tomatoes.

That being said, adding to three spoonfuls of peanut butter to a simple lentil curry of medium paste, coconut cream or milk, lentils, sweet potatoes and spinach is the bomb. It's Ethiopian inspired. (Check out Ethiopian stews!)

This one is lovely: www.vegrecipesofindia.com/veg-kheema-recipe/

I do fry everything first then bung it in the slow cooker with a bit of marigold bouillon and let it sit for 6 hours or so. Use less liquid than stated if not doing it on the hob.
