Hi, one of my daughters' best friends is dairy-free (allergy) & I always do dairy-free cakes for her my daughters' birthday so DD's friend can share in the celebration . I'm planning on doing a dinosaur party this year & the main birthday cake will be a dinosaur excavation cake. For that I'll be melting standard white chocolate to make the bones. But I want to make a small cake for DD's friend so she doesn't feel left out & I want to know what is the best vegan white chocolate & can it be melted down so I can make bones with it?

Hi :) I always use Moo Free chocolate for cooking. They do a white bar here:
www.dairyfreechocolates.com/collections/all-dairy-free-chocolates/products/mini-moos-yummy-white but I just noticed they also do VATs of catering chocolate! Yummy.
Good luck with the birthday!

Thanks. Ended up using Sainsbury's own Free From white chocolate. It melted fine but didn't pour as easily as dairy chocolate, but still worked. Took longer to set too.
Here's the finished cupcakes with DF white chocolate bones.
