What do you eat at an Indian restaurant / takeaway that’s vegan?

I find it hard to know what to choose because there might be hidden ghee in veg curries. What is always vegan?

I think you’ll need to ask if they put ghee in stuff. Veg curries or daal would typically be made with ghee but it might be cheaper to make them with veg oil so there’s a chance that they’re vegan.

I'm intolerant to milk so can't have milk products anyway (would be ill) - I find that vegetable curries at Indian restaurants don't have ghee in (if they did I'd know about it!)
Ones that are usually fine and I eat are vegetable bhuna or rogan josh.
Always best to check with the restaurant though to be on the safe side, don't take my word for it.
