I’m guessing you’re looking for low carb suggestions? Do you like tofu? Also hallomi or paneer cheese are good for protein based main meals.

Yes low carbs. Any diets l have seen are eggs for breakfast, fish for lunch/dinner which l don't eat.

I'm looking for a diet that l can follow.

eat loads of vegetables.

Low carb is harder if you’re veggie, especially without eggs, so needs a bit more planning . I would be tempted to go for porridge for breakfast and then no carbs the rest of the day. Snack on nuts: cottage cheese / hummus/ carrot sticks/ veggie sausages. I quite like the veggie bacon rashers- maybe with fried onion and tomato as a breakfast option? Don’t let yourself get hungry is the key.

Cathpot, thank you. It's very hard as l seem to be always hungry. Will try the veggie rashers

What you need to do is to get a veg box/load of veg every week.

And then eat the veg. Raw, cooked, whatever. Just start eating it.

Veggie rashers are not going to help you lose weight.

For breakfast I have mashed avocado on a protein bagel or wholegrain bread with sliced tomatoes. I get the bags of frozen avocado from Waitrose or Tesco and weigh out 60g. I find I'm less hungry during the day if I start the day with protein.

I eat at least 2 or 3 pieces of fruit a day - banana mid morning.

Lunchtime at work I usually have the Tesco feta and tomato pasta or the mozzarella and basil pasta salad. Dinner I sometimes have lentil penne with mixed vegetables or a Tesco salad with added grated cheese. I stick to exactly 1200 calories and lose 1-2lbs a week depending on how much exercise I get.

Thanks guys. Going to do some meal planning as eating on the go(mainly carbs).

You might find Rose Elliott’s books helpful. I think some of her recipes are low carb.
