Good restaurant in Whitby that serves vegan food?

Me and dh are having a weekend in Whitby for our anniversary and would like to go for a nice evening meal.
Google is just suggesting cafes and chip shops but there must be somewhere that will do something.

Any tips??

The spinach and falafel burger at Trenchers is good.
The Magpie Cafe serves evening food. The vegetarian shepard's pie can be made vegan and there are other marked vegan options.

Sanders Yard Bistro always has at least something that’s suitable for vegans.
The Jolly Sailors is a traditional pub overlooking the harbour with a restaurant upstairs. Serves 2 main meals listed as vegan on the menu.

The Magpie shepherds pie is yummy! Just make sure to ask for the vegan version.

We went to the Whitby jet museum on the first night and it was really good. Then went to the Thai place in the station on the second and it was great!
