It's my wee boys birthday and I'm after tried and tested vegan chocolate cake recipes.

He isn't vegan but he is only young so it will be the grown ups eating the majority of it and my brother and I will be the ones that end up munching it so it needs to be vegan for us grubbers everyone else in the family don't do cakes!!! I know craziness right?

Pure chocolate cake recipe. Look it up. Its fab

OhCheesus · 16/06/2019 13:59

You could replace the coconut butter with another vegan option

Tolleshunt · 16/06/2019 14:04

Nigella chocolate olive oil cake. It's to die for. And I normally steer well clear of anything labelled vegan!

I love one online by the loopy whisk that's also gluten free. Works for me every time

NearlyVegan · 17/06/2019 11:23

It's not gluten free obviously but I made the bbc one il have a look at the others as my hubby is very much an omnivore who loves chocolate cake so will need to try and test them all. Just waiting on him to finish nursery to present it to my tiny food cake addict critic. He loves biscoff at the mo so thought we would try that.

I shall let you know how it goes down with everyone. Thank you for sharing x
