Hello, as above! My 10-month-old baby is a great eater but I want to give him more variety for his quick meals - I only have time to cook something proper like risotto or dahl on a Sunday so just once a week. We eat plant-based diet with some fish. My gut can't cope with too many pulses and he is having quite a bit of fish as he can't east nuts or soy so hard to get easy protein.
Another ideal criteria would be that the meals are easy for him to feed himself, as he really likes doing that.
At the moment he usually eats:
-porridge or oatibix with mashed fruit and cinnamon and sometimes a bit of oat milk/cream for breakfast
-sandwiches of hummous or tinned mackerel or avocado for lunch
- dinner is usually either more tinned fish with whatever vegetables I have to hand or pasta with homemade pesto of various things (sundried tomato, basil, carrrot tops, mixed with nutritional yeast/olive oil
He also has a lot of fruit and veg and rice cakes and bread sticks as snacks or accompaniments to his meals.
All ideas welcome! Thanks
