hi all
I have looked around but always good to get views.
I was wondering, is anyone finding themselves eating mycoprotein (linda mc) nearly every day? i seem to have a taste for it and i can imagine that will be even more in the winter, but it doesn't strike me as a good thing to eat nearly daily or every other day, bit high in salt? That said I never add salt to food!
Also - dahl recipes. Due to my mum's background, I lived on spicy dahl and hated it tbh. Is there such a thing as a non spicy dahl? I was thinking I love the Merchant Gourmet tomato or mushroom lentils but there's not much point making anything else out of them? What do you eat with that sort of thing?
Beans - not a huge fan but realising I need to add some to salads especially if I have to do a workout after. What's the least hassly bean to add to a salad, ideally open a tin of...? Presumably they will just take on the taste of the dressing?
Beans are another thing I haven't bothered with because I just think of baked beans from childhood.
thanks for any quick and easy ideas! (not a cooking fan, also debating ditching the slow cooker now there's no meat being cooked).
