Any reviews of this?

When I looked into it before I thought it looked good, with two minor reservations. But I can't remember what my reservations were. Was it - they don't cook with oil or something?

Anyway, they teach you how to cook from scratch, $300 US dollars for 90 days. Syllabus looks comprehensive. Feedback?

Oh that sounds interesting. I've just bought the app which has some nice recipes. I take it this is an online course?

My knowledge is very limited, but I think they do say not to use too much oil or salt, (which are two of my favourite things . I am now decidedly overweight though, so my tastes shouldn't be a guide to anyone)!

Yes it's an online course from quite a well-known online cooking school. The syllabus is comprehensive and covers chef skills like how to hold knives properly and all the different types of chopping and types of cooking. Videos. Hefty tests at the end of each module, and online chat rooms with other students - which is appealing.

They don't use salt, oil or sugar.

They do use plenty of things like nut butters / tahini / avocado so it's not a fat-free diet and it doesn't feel like you're eating dust! I haven't done the course, but I've watched the film, bought the book and most of my cooking is now along these lines. It's remarkably easy to do when you get used to it. I use kelp granules or aminos when I want a salty kick.

Don't know about the course, but have the books.

Yes, it's no SOS - Sugar, Oil, Salt. Quite hard to fit into real life... but the main point is that they believe that oil is the enemy.

Why is oil the enemy?

That simple fact alone may change my mind about taking the course. In the absence of butter, olive oil is my go-to.
