stayed there a couple of years ago. be prepared to share your accomodation with ants but this was probably the worst bit of our holiday.
there's a lovely out door play area with a large little tikes castle in it.
also indoor soft play and toddler play room - you have to stay with the dcs but its all set up like a typical pre-school / nursery with armchairs and a coffee machine for adults.
the swimming pool is very old - no wave machine, slides etc.
evening entertainment is more hi de hi than butlins. they also do meet and greets with barney.
the onsite supermarket is ok and not overpriced but the general standard of food in the cafes is poor and expensive. though, the hot dogs are nice!
off site - there's a really nice pool with slides, wave machine etc. The Nant is a nice place for a meal out (if you are coming from england, you'll past it on the right as you enter prestatyn). Rhyl, is a typical run down seaside town with arcades, beach front rides and an aquarium (not sealife but you can buy bogof tickets on ebay). Further a field - Llandudno has a nice beach. My sister also drives us up a very steep hill just outside prestatyn, near treloggan, I think to see the view.
we love the area and are heading back again at the end of july but staying further down in rhyl on a hoseasons site.
