HELP! Holiday parks on the Isle of Wight

Really faniced a family holiday (2 children aged 4 and 8) on the Isle of Wight this year as the attractions look fab but the parks do not.
Checked out Tripadvisor and no has anything nice to say about any of them. They seem very dated. The most important things for my children seems to be the pool so any suggestions or one to avoid!

The Orchards is quiet (no bar etc) but does have two very nice indoor and outdoor pools.
I also like Nodes Point, mainly for its location right on the beach. It does have bar, entertainment etc, but it quite well done, if cheesy.

I second the Orchards, we went there May half term. they had the best shower block/ washing up block I have ever seen on a touring site. Also have static vans for hire. The shop on site was quite reasonable ,as i think lots of villagers use it as well.
while we were there they had Punch and Judy / magic man/ bird display and scuba in the pool for the children. Free except for scuba@£8.

Agree with chippy - Orchards lovely with great pool but absolutely no on site entertainment or bar. however, there are some lovely pubs with family play areas nearby but only in driving distance. Nodes Point (park resorts) does have bar etc and children's entertainment on site but typical holiday camp type stuff eg: bad cabaret, agadoo ad nauseam etc. Kids will love it!

If you're going before 23rd July Park Resorts are doing two nights for the price of one. I think the code is something like tesco241. We're going for 7 nights and paying for 3 (although their nightly rate for camping is huge!). Also got a very cheap deal on the ferry by booking direct with the park. We're going to Nodes Point - also never been to Isle of Wight.

We love Ninham Country Holidays at Shanklin. It is beautiful. You are infact on the edge of the town but in country park type setting and you feel miles away in the countryside.
The pitches are huge and most of the site is perimeter pitches only. Even in August you dont feel hemmed in.
There is an outdoor pool (& toddler pool) on site as well as fishing, few play areas, games room and shop. No evening entertinment although you can actually walk into Town if you like.
There is a Morrissons 2 or 3 minutes drive from the site as well.
We love it here - although sadly not been back to the IOW for 2 years. This is where we will retun though on our next visit. Its just lovely.

Forgot to say that Ninham has a few statics and couple of holiday lets too.

Thank you going to check out these parks and avoid tripadvisor as people seem so negative

I've heard Gurnard Pines is ok from someone that stayed there last Aug during Cowes Week. They had a jacuzzi bungalow and like it so much they're going back again this year. We've looked at staying there ourselves but haven't made it yet. I've been told by a local that Gurnard Pines is 'in the middle of nowhere' though but i can't imagine IOW is that big....?!
