No, they are miles apart. Bristol airport is outside the city. Woudl be a cab ride away (or there might be a hopper bus. Not used the airport in years).

I have been directed to Bristol Flyers, so will bus it to Bristol TM

You can buy a ticket from First Great Western from the airport to Birmingham and use the airport bus link. Just got one of these tickets!
