Can you recommend somewhere in St Ives for a few days without kids?

We celebrated our anniversay in St Ives and stayed at the Sloop which is on the harbour front, breakfast was served in our room, the table was in front of the window, wide open overlooking the sea, it was wonderful!! Its not a 5 star hotel but the location is fab, room clean, staff lovely. My husband had organised flowers and champagne in the room for our arrival and we had bucks fizz with breakfast to!! Or for something more up market there is Tregenna Castle, which is a hotel overlooking the bay, leisure complex, spa, fine dining, suites available. The Porthminster hotel might be worth considering although have noticed it has had some negative reviews on some travel websites, or the Pendolva, which has a room with a bath that is infront of a window overlooking the sea!! Its one of my fav places, have a wonderful time!!

www.salthousestives.co.uk/ looks stunning and is in this month's Coast Magazine.

Primrose Valley hotel also has great reviews.
