Any good recommendations for a holiday park or campsite on the East Sussex coast, close to Camber or Winchelsea please?

not a recommendation i'm afraid, more a warning - we stayed at Park Resorts Camber Sands a few years back and actually left early: caravan was falling apart, i.e. windows would not fasten etc etc, really grotty, massively overpriced extras such as kids bouncy castle that IMO should be included - you get the idea!

hope someone comes along in a minute with a positive recommendation for you!

There is a Haven caravan park in Hastings (Combe Haven) but I used to live in Hastings so never stayed there. If you can access the Hoseasons catalogue I believe they have some static sites actually in Winchelsea which may be cheaper and also nicer.

yes, i've heard poor reviews of Park Resorts and other similar big family holiday parks, so am reluctant to book without hearing a good recommendation first. will definitely look into Hoseasons/Winchelsea unless other recommendations follow..

We had a very nice caravan with Park Resorts in Winchelsea Beach (silver). We went with a group of 30ish and only one of our group had any real issue with the caravan and it was fixed right away.
