Urgent - Beaches and other things in Dumfries and Galloway

I know I have left it until the very last minute but we go away tomorrow and have just realised we don't know where the good beaches are and also what to do if it rains.

We are staying near Port Patrick and have an 8 yr old DS.

I'm rushing out, but there's loads to do and the beaches are great. Ask in the pub when you get there. The weather forecast is stunning and you'll have a ball. Enjoy yourselves!

Hey Agent. Thanks - we had a fab time! Fell in love with Port Logan, visited Cream o Galloway, Sandyhills beach, Kirktrilligan beach, Dunskey Gardens and Maze and Mull of Galloway. We got back today and I so want to go again now! Thanks for your suggestions - you are right - the area is beautiful
